Acoustics at Blank's new stadium
As I watch the Niners play the Seahawks, I am amazed at the crowd noise generated in an outdoor stadium. While the fans are doing there job, it is ridiculous to assume that Seattle natives are inherently louder than any other fanbase in the NFL.

It is clear that the stadium was designed to acoustically enhance the crowd's noise level. I know that Arthur Blank is thinking about making a statement with his billion dollar baby. I think he should employ acoustical engineers to design the seating in such a way that the fans' screams are focussed onto the strip of land between the hash marks.

High end culinary treats are great, but a deafening stadium creates an advantage. I say blow the doors off the opposition with a stadium designed to win.

RE: Acoustics at Blank's new stadium
Yeah. The way the Seahawks stadium was designed with takes the sound from the crowd and filters it over the playing field making it very loud. It's why the Seahawks have one of the best home winning percentages since that stadium opened in 2002.

RE: Acoustics at Blank's new stadium
In the absence of any NFL rules to prohibit such a thing, Blank should jump in and insist that acoustics be a design goal.
