Man Bart could throw the ball a mile with pinpoint accuracy! that pass to Jackson in the Rams game was truly a thing of beauty

Wow, Irishfalconfan - I don't know. There are some similar highlights - though not nearly as good - on youtube - just type in 1980 Falcons season - it's in 3 parts.

This one is just better, period, but I don't know how to imbed it Sad

RE: Absolutely Wonderful Video - if you want to know about our past
Steve Bartkowski, California Golden Bear, on a bet started at the end of one end zone and from the goal line threw over the other goal line. Now that is a big league arm! 100 yds! It is probably still on the Golden Bear site.

During pregame warm-ups I watched Bart throw ropes 55yds to a receiver in stride in the end zone.

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

Oh my god. I had forgotten just how good William Andrews was. The NFL would have fined him for violent hits with todays rules.

If I had to pick my favorite all time Falcon, or football player for that matter, it would be William Andrews.

I still vividly remember him destroying a Bronco DB on the way to a 70+ yard TD. I wish I could find a replay of that.

Quote from Ronnie Lott about William Andrews:

Ronnie Lott, when asked about his hardest hit, a head-on-collision with Atlanta Falcons running back William Andrews in 1982. "I ran 10 yards straight at him, as hard as I could," he recalls. "He didn't see me. The whole time I was saying to myself, This is it! Then, boom. I slid off of him like butter. I hit the ground, and he didn't go down. I was thinking, What?
