Aaron Rodgers Proved Tonight...
No matter how good a QB you are being a 1 dimensional football team is a losing formula more often than not. And I'm a fan of Aaron personally but only one team and that is Peyton Manning's Colts is capable of getting away with being so 1 dimensional so often. Even high powered offenses such as the Saints and the Patriots (when they were breaking every record) still had running games that were extremely effective.
So go ahead and let all the talking heads yap about how Matt Ryan can't do this and can't do that, and hasn't shown he can get it done without a running game because in the end any so called "expert" who speaks something similar to that knows not a damn thing about the game of football.

Losing Ryan Grant may have had a little to do with it, also GB's defense isn't living up to it's hype either. I don't think they are TRYING to be one dimensional and trying to let Rodgers do it all. it's early and they have stuff to tweak like a lot of teams. But I agree, being a one trick pony will kill you. I don't even think the Colts can get away with it in the long run. |

I know Ryan Grant got hurt, I know they aren't TRYING to be 1 dimensional. My point is there are talking heads *cough* Jamie Dukes *cough* that try to bring down a QB by saying he can't get the job done without a running game. Most QB's no matter how elite aren't going to get the job done unless they have a running game to turn to in some shape or form. This is after all a TEAM sport. I was just pointing out how even Aaron Rodgers who is already considered one of the NFL elite even further proved that point.

RE: Aaron Rodgers Proved Tonight...
well...it shows just as much that our passing game will help open up the run, and not just MM running these stacked line heavy run sets from any one spot on the field.
Turner killed it '08, but seems like we were a more efficient passing team in '08 as well, or at least we didn't come out in these stacked heavy run sets as often. Dome Section 232! |

GB is not only 1 dimensional but they are undisciplined as evidenced by their excessive amount of penalties. Also, they're defense isn't all it's cracked up to be either.

The other commentator said Vince couldnt do it without run game, and Jamie may the argument that not many QBs can |

17 penalties...in one game.
That is all the dimension you need to lose. |

They are only one dimensional because Grant is on the OR. |
