RE: Why is Atlanta a bad sports town?
Right now, Atlanta and Cleveland are the 2 most horrid sports towns in America. Until Atlanta can get over its hump it will always be this way.

Numerous Florida locations should be up there. Heat or no Heat most Florida based teams have awful support, good or bad. Atlanta had a winner in the Braves consistently and still didn't support them. IMO that's lame. The whole Atlanta is tired of losing excuse doesn't hold water with the Braves. Where was the support when they were winning? Atlanta just isn't a town where the fan bases are loyal. It is what it is. In terms of fans passion, yes we are towards the bottom. Cleveland is rather passionate, at least when it comes to football and that team has been bad for how long?

I should point out that all of this is coming from someone who resides in Tampa.
