Braves now have both Upton brothers
Link
Quote:The Atlanta Braves have agreed to a trade to acquire outfielder Justin Upton and third baseman Chris Johnson from the Arizona Diamondbacks for pitcher Randall Delgado, infielder Martin Prado and minor leaguers Nick Ahmed, Brandon Drury and Zeke Spruill, sources tell ESPN. If Chris Johnson wasn't part of the deal I'd be pissed about losing Prado. Not all that upset about Delgado, however this makes it apparent that Teheran will be in our starting rotation this season. RE: Braves now have both Upton brothers
Great core of youth on the Braves between Freeman, Heyward, and the Uptons. Lineup looks pretty good right now.
This is my signature. |

RE: Braves now have both Upton brothers
I'll admit, I liked Delgado, and I'm not to familiar with the younger Upton. Not really fond of the way we keep moving away from much of our young pitching talent. I reckon it wouldn't matter a much as long as Tehran has a place in the rotation.

From what I can tell, Tehran will be the 5th starter. Hudson Medlen Maholm Minor Tehran The Man In Black

RE: Braves now have both Upton brothers
Very surprised we're letting Prado go. He's a good guy and could play any position asked very well. Good hitter too.
I don't know anything about Chris Johnson. Anyone got the scoop on him? |

RE: Braves now have both Upton brothers
wow, they still play baseball? amazing...........
LOL I haven't watched a whole baseball game since......since.........since, I don't remember. probably 1995-96. just grew weary of the non/poorly punished doping. one of my favorite all time memories is bonds sitting in left field after Sid scored. out of the names you guys put up there, the only one I recognized was hudson, that's Tim Hudson, right? Chew on THAT, Petunia!

RE: Braves now have both Upton brothers
We tried to sign Prado to a long term deal but he was asking for more than we were willing to offer.
Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.
