AFT Football Games for This Year

I am going to run them all on Yahoo.

We are going to do a survival game of course. Instead of doing the fake cash game I did last year, we are going to run a pick em using point spreads and confidence points. And I have also created a regular old fantasy football league as well. I know Beef has one set up already but looks like it has filled up, so this will give the people who have been taking the off season off a chance to get into one.

the group numbers are

23031 for the Pick Em game
553575 for the FF game
10412 for the Survival game

The password to join all 3 games is aftaft.

The draft for the FF league is going to be 2 weeks from today, 8/30, at 8 pm. I didn't check the draft date and time of the other league so hopefully it doesn't conflict. If it does, I'll change it.

RFlagg is actually commishing the other league (12 team free league on Yahoo) and our draft time is Sat. 9/1 at 8:30pm EST.

And I can't tell who is actually in or not. There's like 15 people who said they wanted in, but there's only 12 spots. I know these folks are in, but a few of the names are anonymous and I can't tell.

The scoring for the yahoo FF league is going to be the standard yahoo default scoring with three additions.

10 point bonus for 450 yards passing.
10 point bonus for 200 yards rushing.
10 point bonuse for 200 yards receiving.

Also that league is set up for 16 teams. I like leagues set up where you don't have Superstars at every position, and I think 16 teams does that very well.

And I don't think I'd be in a league where RFlagg is the commissioner. That guy is too damn hard to beat without being the commissioner. If he gets to set the rules....forget about it.

I'm sitting out this year unless I'm needed to finish a league. I'll put up a sticky thread like last year and get everyone figured out.

I'll probably drop the information at a couple of other sites for the FF if we don't pick up the pace with entrants. I can wait on the other games though.

Heck I'll enter the FF league and the pick em.

I do have a question about the pick em. So is it using the point spreads? If so how does that work? I've never fully understood how that kind of stuff works.
