AFMB makes me want to throw up
It is absolutely disgusting over there. There are so many trolls, and "Falcons" fans over there talking about how we beat a crappy team, and how we shouldn't be excited because our real test comes next week. It's even to the point of where the trolls have been able to get positive responses from some of the more respected posters over there.

What makes Arizona a lower level team? They lost Boldin, and Kurt Warner. Ok, insert Derek Anderson (Pro Bowl QB for the CLEVELAND BROWNS), and Steve Breaston who has done more than his fare share of filling in where Boldin left. They still have a dynamic running game with big play ability. They got Joey Porter in the off-season, to replace the loss of Karlos Dansby. I am sorry, but I do not view this team as a lower level team. To cut them down like that is assanine.

The Atlanta Falcons simply were clicking on all cylinders today. We came out and executed to near perfection. Why are they trying to tarnish our victory because we were facing Derek Anderson? I am just about done posting over there until they get some mods who actually monitor the boards and get rid of idiots like that.

You're really preaching to the choir.

That board is total garbage now, I rarely ever go over there anymore. This forum will never get out of hand, I really believe that our mods and admins will send all the trolls packing.

I don't think the Cards are that good, but finding any excuse in the book to stay negative just to say I told you so is pretty dang annoying.

Besides, anyone with a brain that watches the NFL knows its about winning your home games, beating the teams that you should beat, and being in positions to win on the road.

I don't see any negative today other than the injuries.

I agree USAF its just stupid! - Now if we would have lost the game those same poster would be saying "We call ourselves a SB contender and we can't even beat the sorry Cards"

RE: AFMB makes me want to throw up
Below is an example of what I am talking about, in regards to respected posters agreeing with trolls:

ATLballer, on 19 September 2010 - 10:48 AM, said:

Im sure Turner will run for 150+ yrds and a TD.Matt Ryan will have a Probowl day with a couple
of TD's. H.Douglas will even get in the enzone..The play calling will seem lightyears better just because its Arizona. Dont get suckered in and think MM is a Offensive genius today.

Watch how many threads come up about see I told you Matty Ice is a great QB or Turner is back to his old self.

The homers will be in full force after today..

Agreed +1. I have said on mumerous occasions that winning this game today doesn't validate or show that we are a solid team. Alot of people are making excuses that we lost to Pittsburgh because they have a good defense. You show that you are solid by beating teams like Pittsburgh with great defenses. The Saints game will be a big test to where we stand next week. Although it is a long season and thing can change easily.

It's a great win, it really is. But it only counts as one, and I do think that is a pretty bad football team. If the Falcons don't show up and compete next week against the Saints, this win will be forgotten. They do have to keep building on it.

I agree. Even after a great win, the board gets a lot of haters. Maybe it's good it normally crashes on game day?

The Falcons did today what good football teams do. They pistol-whipped an inferior squad.

Each game has its own meaning and tenor.
