This. I'm always so sad for his loss when I see him make a big kick, knowing that his loss has toughened him (and likely hardened him) to where he can focus so well. It seems so wrong we celebrate his talent, which is a product of his loss.

But then I see him celebrate too, and join in what has likely been a largely cathartic moment for his life, and helped him move beyond that loss. I can't imagine going through what he did, and am glad that his importance to our team has likely helped in some small way.
