It is a stupid fucking question.

LOL AT THIS NONSENSE ...bringing the great wr corps .. so Matt Ryan has nobody at wr ? guess you forgot about a PRO BOWLER IN RODDY WHITE

You do know Ryan played with a future HOF TE - Rodgers did not

and Ryan played with a solid running game ..RODGERS DID not

cut that nonsense buddy ..

Carson Palmer had better stats then Brady in his 2nd year...is Carson Palmer better then Brady

Palmer had a 77 QB rating his 2nd season, Brady had an 86.5 rating in his sophomore campaign. So statistically, that is incorrect.

RE: A question for the Ryan hater's
Why is there a discussion about who is the best QB? It's all about the system installed. Sure some QB's are just naturally gifted and can thrive in any system, however MOST cannot. Nobody knows what Matt Ryan is capable of. He is in a Run Heavy Offense. Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning are all in a Spread offense. Peyton Manning is a naturally gifted QB. They have brought up receivers from the practice squad two years in a row and he has made them look like pro-bowlers. We will NEVER know the potential of Matt Ryan until we get him more weapons and better play calling. Yes we have Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez, but when we are only going to those two on 3rd downs, it's easy to shut down. We need receivers to get seperation on every down. We need to run 3 and 4 WR sets. Maybe in the 4 WR sets, have TG out there as an eligible receiver. This would force the defense to spread out and would EASILY open up the run. You run the ball well in this offense, and it opens up the passing. It's simple knowledge.

Everyone seems so angry here.

It's not hard to figure,...the Falcons O-line at center and right guard are suspect. Even Baker cannot pass block well although a great run blocker.

Sometimes I wonder if Ryan haters are Vick fans. Ryan has given us some beautiful pass plays.

Flacco and Sanchez have both lead there teams to PLAYOFF WINS ..you can argue the whole point of they have the better DEFENSE BLAH BLAH but no one here not even me is saying Flacco or Sanchez is better then Ryan they are all bunched together imo

Rodgers on the other hand is special do you agree and right now and probably 5 years from now ..Is that a knock on Ryan no

Ryan can lead us to a Super Bowl .........FACT

he just needs to be in right system and right players around him ..

Ok Swift, let me make this plain and simple for you. Sanchez and Flacco have won because of their defenses. Don't believe it? Look at the damn stats.

Ravens Points Allowed: 114 Points Allowed in 7 Games, 16.2 PPG
Jets Points Allowed: 95 Points Allowed in 5 Games, 19 PPG
Falcons Points Allowed: 78 Points Allowed in 2 Games, 39 PPG

You call people blind homers for defending Ryan, but you're showing some blind hatred claiming that Ryan, Flacco, and Sanchez are on the same level is just ignoring facts. Take away their defenses and both are lucky to have even made the playoffs.

so your saying Ryan is not capable winning in the playoffs unless we get a GREAT DEFENSE ..I agree

also the comment of take away there defense ...makes lil sense your dealt the cards does Tom Brady wish he had Peyton Manning wrs or does Peyton Manning wish he had Bill Bellichick as a coach .its just a excuse.

want to take away Big Ben super bowls cause he has a good defense..Big Ben did nothing in those games to lead Pitt to 2 super bowls .

Eli Manning won a super bowl when his GREAT defense gave up the lead he drove them back for a winning td ..

RE: A question for the Ryan hater's
During Tom Brady's 3 Superbowls, he had a top tier defense assisting him.
When Peyton finally won a Superbowl, it was when his defense decided to go all world in the play-offs.
When Eli won a Superbowl, his defense shut down the greatest offense to ever step on the field.
When Big Ben won the Superbowl the 2nd time, his defense scored points and destroyed Kurt Warner.
When the Saints won the Superbowl, their defense provided the game ending INT returned for a TD.

Aaron Rodgers has one of the best defense in the league working with him. So tell me about all these QBs who win in the play-offs without defense?

(01-18-2011 10:08 PM)Radical Wrote:  Or maybe the expectations are realistic, but the pace at which they expect him to be like them and under the circumstances are unrealistic. Matt Ryan's third year stats exceed Brady's 3rd year stats, both third year starting and third year in the league.

this what your quote Radical ..no clue what you were implying .. just cause Ryan 3rd year stats are better then Brady that has no relevance to what the QB can be or will be . So I countered your argument with Josh Freeman has better stats in 2nd year then Ryan or Brady ....Is Josh Freeman a better QB then Ryan or Brady

Its really simple to counter your argument .
