Barry is the greatest RB ever.

You can only imagine what he would have done in a traditional offense and not the run and shoot. He easily would have had 3 or 4 2000 yard seasons. All they needed was to draft a decentQB. They still had Herman Moore. Their line wasn't bad. The R&S is not an olines best friend.

Idk they ran that scheme, from the numbers he put up I never woulda guessed. Makes you wonder just how inept their FO and coaching staff was to run that with a top 3 RB ever and pathetic QB after pathetic QB....

He was wrong. Every media source, article, bio, friend, organization member, and even Barry himself said flat out that Barry simply didn't enjoy the game any more. Simply put, the guy did amazing things and tried so hard year after year, and it would always end up with a loss.

Not to diss Jamal Anderson and what he did in 1998, but Barry Sanders would probably have put up 2000 yards running behind our line and in our offense. Jamal would have been reduced to a goal line/short yardage back at best with Barry Sanders.

In fact, I'd say that we beat Denver in the 98 Superbowl with Barry Sanders pulling the shit he did. He's easily the single most elusive player to ever set foot on a NFL football field.
