4th Quarter Defensive Stats Broken Down
Someone asked this:

I would like somebody to do an analysis of our yardage for quarters 1-3, then figure it up for the 4th. THAT would be an interesting stat. Anybody have wayyyyy too many time on their hands?

Here are those number broken down by game and then totals, Home, Away, averages, etc.

4th quarter yardage given up on defense
@ PIT 150 (OT), 9 pts
ARI 30, 0 pts
@ NO 125 (OT), 3 pts
SF 58, 0 pts
@ CLE 74, 0 pts
@PHI 99, 3 pts
CIN 130, 7 pts
TB 96, 0 pts
BAL 165, 14 pts
@ STL 104, 0 pts
GB 145 (Left out 35 yard last play we had lots of people way back), 7 pts

Home: 624 yards (6 games) 104 YPG
Away: 552 yards (5 games) 110.4 YPG

Total 1,176 yards (11 games) 106.9 YPG

Yards given up Season: 3,812 (346.5 YPG)
Yards given up Quarters 1-3: 2,632 (79.75 Yards per Quarter Average)

Points Given up 4th quarters: 43 pts (3.9 avg)
Points given up Season: 204 pts (18.5 avg)
Points Given up Quarters 1-3: 161 pts (4.87 avg per quarter)

Away 4th Quarter Points Given Up: 15 pts (5 games, 3 PPG)
Home 4th Quarter Points Given Up: 28 pts (6 games, 4.6 PPG)

No idea what this means but someone asked so you all can discuss. We give up less yards on average through the first 3 quarters. Behead ahead in games though also requires more passing in the 4th from the opposing team. Consistency at home and away isn't a bad thing. Have at it.
