Reports are VJ got 4 games. I think he would be the explosive player who could keep the defenses honest knowing he can get that 18 YPC. Huge size, great blocker, great hands, poor drunk driver.

Someone get this man a driver and a contract!

Vincent Jackson is actually the perfect WR for Favre. He love to throw jump balls to WR when they have one on one, and he's never had a WR as good at jump balls as Vincent Jackson.

I don't see the Vikings making a play for VJ. They need someone to come in for a year to help before Rice comes back from injury. I don't think it makes sense for 4 games. He would also later push an expensive Berrian off the field. If they wanted someone, they should have picked up Housh for no draft pick and a small one year deal.

VJ has missed all of training camp, all of preseason, and the first week of the season.

He's going to be VERY rusty. He probably won't be up to speed in any new offense until towards the end of the season.

While I have no problem with picking him up....
1. He's not going to pay immediate dividends and
2. He's going to want a lot of $$.

They probably did, but Houshmanzadeh really wanted to play with the Ravens I think. He like the fact that Ray Lewis called him and made a personal plea to sign with the Ravens.

I just heard Adam Schefter (sp) say that they'd have an exact number tonight. He'd only have to serve a 4-5 game suspension if, and only if he's traded. 4 sounds a lot better than 6.
