And I'm not sure why you guys wanted divisional games taken out. Carolina has to play 6 games against 3 top tier teams. That means their schedule is a bitch either way you slice it & they're certainly not 26th toughest as a result. It was way more accurate when they were #1.

You can't realistically look at a team's strength of schedule until you take the division games out. If you don't do that, then you'll almost always end up with the worst team with the toughest schedule and the best team with the easiest.

It just doesn't paint the proper picture.

I think it's pointless to look at strength of schedule from this season anyway because we have no idea how good/bad anyone will be next season. Look at two of the saints opponents this year.

They played:
Vikings (12-4 in 09) (6-10 in 2010)
Cowboys (11-5 in 09) (6-10 in 2010)

We played:
Packers (11-5 in 09) (10-6 in 2010)
Eagles (11-5 in 09) (10-6 in 2010)
