Palmer absolutely was an elite quarterback before his ACL blew out, too. There's a lot of guys with playoff success on that list, and more than anything, playoff success is used to judge quarterbacks. If you want to use that to take a shot at Rivers or Palmer, fine, but the others have either done very well or are too young to judge.

I think the General rule should be....
If your wear the Bling (Superbowl Ring) you cannot be over rated because you have achieved what everyone would give up all the stats in the world to achieve leading a team to a trophy He also beat a team that if they won would of been proclaimed as the best of all time |

However having said that I personally think Eli has been pretty under-rated. At least up to where he got paid the humongous big-bucks... I do not think McNabb has been over-rated.
